Just Something to Ponder

Why should the man who inherits the capacity to learn to steer rockets through space earn a higher income than the man who is born with the capacity to drive buses? Are justice and equity any better served when rewards are distributed according to inherited genes rather than inherited dollars?

  1. Society would not function as we know it without individuals to serve in all positions. I have found that the jobs with hard labor are as gratifying as careers in mind bending occupations. So if the capacity of a man is to be a bus driver or a starship 'driver' the significance is just as important, even though society rates positions as they best see them pushing culture forward rather than sustaining society as is. And that is determined by the collective deciding what pushes society ahead.
